Here’s what AAA requires of an approved auto mechanic:

We are highly-trained auto mechanics who have demonstrated our qualifications. Our auto mechanics have earned certification by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, or an equivalent certification.

Our full-service auto repair facility has the tools and equipment to provide a broad range of repair services including repairs to engines, brakes and electrical systems. We also offer expanded repair service in other areas, such as suspension and heating/air conditioning.

Every Auto Technician is Fully-Qualified

At Shade Tree Garage we employ technicians who are ASE and AC Delco Master Technicians. We also have mechanics licensed by the NJ DMV as private facility inspectors. One of our Master Technicians is even an instructor to other technicians at the Mechanics Educational Association (MEA).

What do all these certifications mean?

Everybody knows that MD following an individual’s name means Medical Doctor. Certifications are used in a profession to recognize qualified and competent individuals. In the case of auto mechanics, they are a way of measuring individual accomplishments. In fact, ASE’s certification serves as an impartial, third-party endorsement of an auto mechanic’s knowledge and experience. The certifications also demonstrate our commitment to automotive service and repair excellence. With every certification comes training, study, and “keeping up” with changing technology.
